In 1412 he meets and enters the employ of Lord Julius, grandlord of the wealthiest of Estarcion's city-states, Palnu. He soon becomes a trusted member of Lord Julius' inner circle, defeating a plot by the mysterious cult "The Eye in the Pyramid" to initiate a wide-scale revolution. Tiring of city-life, Cerebus decides to leave Palnu after being handsomely rewarded.
