- 1963 #6: Image, Oct. 1993. The Tomorrow Syndicate has a Cerebus cameo by Rick Veitch and Dave Gibbons.
- A Charmed Life: (mini comic) Story "Lost at SPACE" features an illustration of Dave Sim with a tiny Cerebus on his shoulder.
- 1987 Amazing Heroes Preview Special: #4, cover with Groo the Wanderer.
- Awakening Comics #2: Nov 1997, 48-page, B&W, Cerebus appearance by Sim.
- Bacchus, Eddie Campbell's, #1: a 5 page Cerebus / Bacchus crossover entitled "The Face on the Bar-Room Floor" w/ Cerebus drawn by Sim.
- Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special #1: December 1993. "Page 16. Party scene with someone in a Cerebus costume." Art by Tim Sale.
- Boris the Bear #1: 1986 Dark Horse, Boris assasinate Yojimbo, Cerebus and others.
- Boris the Bear #8: 1987, Dark Horse. Follow up to above, includes "an anteater-looking Cerebus parody name Slobberus." 6 pages and cover.

- Cerebus Vs. Iguana Vs. Beer #1: Published by Mouse Skull Entertainment, 2005. B&W, mini-flip comic. 4 page story.
- Comic Chronicles #10: Cover illustration of Cerebus by Graig Knickerbocker.
- Comics Forum #7: Autumn 1994. small cover illustration of Cerebus by D'Israeli. Standing next to Morpheus, Batman and Alice Cooper.
- Comics Journal #58: May 1985. Kevin Nowlan cover with many indy characters, Cerebus included.
- Different Voices #1: Cover by Eddie Campbell shows Cerebus getting into a fist fight with Bacchus. It is a parody of Guys, with Guys crossed out on the cover and Blokes written in its place.
- Dirtbag #1: 1994, from Twist and Shout Comics by Richard Johnston has a jam cover featuring Manic Mandrill (Simon Bisley), Mr Mamoullian (Brian Bolland), Little Martian (David Lloyd), Cerebus (Dave Sim), Cerebus' bricks (Gerhard), and Little Happy Creatures (Terry Wiley).
- Dork Tower #9: A Cerebus cover by Sim. No other Cerebus content. From Dork Storm Press, August 2000.
- Drawing The Line: A benefit book for cancer research. A 3 page story by Dave, Gerhard and Chester Brown of Cerebus on his death bed with Chester's Bunny character.
- Finder #25: (by Carla Speed McNeil). On pg 15 Magri White is standing in front of a movie poster promoting "Jaka's Story." The poster features a picture of Jaka, Rick and a hooded Cirinist.
- Flaming Carrot #18: Dark Horse, 1988, Cerebus in one panel on Page 25. Also reprinted in Flaming Carrot trade paperback #3. p. 203.
- Flying Colors 10th Anniversary Special #1: published by Flying Colors Comics in 1998. One panel of Cerebus holding a Dandy Don's Bazaar Heros comic, drawn by Smith Brown Jones.
- Funny Book #1: The last page has an illustration of a comic geek wearing a "#1 Cerebus Fan" button.

- It's A Fanzine #38: March 1987. 24 Pages. Cover features Cerebus, not by Sim.
- Just 1 Page #3: 80 page magazine (UK size A4) with Cerebus on the cover and in 1 pin up inside, both not by Sim
- Laffin' Gas #5: Parodies of animal parodies gang up to hunt down Bore-Us the Bear! Cerebus appears on pages 3-5, 23, 14 and 27.
- Lethargic Comics #14: Features a cover featuring Cerebus, Cerebus drawn by Sim.
- Loose Notes #4: 1983, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 fanzine, 64 pages. Cerebus the Aardvark cover by Barbara A. Cummings. Has a "filksong" about Cerebus.
- Marvel Fanfare #15: Cerebus head balloon on pages 15 - 17
- Master Of Kung-Fu #104: P. 16: Cerebus carved into temple walls. Art by Gene Day.

- #6: Cerebus on Cover (by Valentino). December 1984 The last page is a full color jam by Sim, William Messner-Loebs, Arn Saba and Valentino. It's a parody of a classic Avengers cover featuring Cerebus in the role of the Loki. (Thanks Jeff!)
- #7: p. 7: Cerebus in a crowd scene, to the right of Shmoo to the left of Miracleman.
- #10: 2 pages of Cerebus by Sim. Cerebus discussing politics with a drunk normalman.
- Normalman 3-D Annual #1: Cerebus appears in crowd scene on the cover. Image repeats inside.
- Normal Man/ Megaton Man #1- Huge Crossover Event: An Image comic with Jim Valentino's Normalman verses Don Simpson's Megaton Man. Appearances by Bone, Cerebus, Starchild, Groo, Madman, Zot, Flaming Carrot and many more. Cerebus can be seen on the cover by Flaming Carrot's head. The scan of the cover is large so you can see him. - One-Shot Parody Issue #1: Xmen (pronounced "Zhmen"): Features a dead-on parody of Cerebus, called Cerebos (the "Infected Detective") on pages 11 and 5.
- Puma Blues #1: Gavia Immer is wearing a Cerebus t-shirt visible on pages 10 and 12.
- RadioActive Man #6: "Bongo Comics, 1994. Six issue series of Radioactive Man, issue "1000", actual issue number 6 in series". Page 25 has the Cerebus wannabe appearance.
- Renegade Rabbit #2: Page 8 features the talking heads of Henrot and the sorcerer from "Magiking"
- Renegade Rabbit #4: Last page is a pin up of Renegade Rabbit and Elrod the Albino
- Renegade Rabbit #5: published in 1987, This issue does not have Cerebus in it, but parodies Cerebus. Each chapter corresponds to a Cerebus novel: "Renegade, A' Buried In" (Cerebus the Barbarian), "High 'N' Mighty" (High Society), "Search and Wait" (Church and State), plus "Mind Wanderings" (the Mind Games issues). page 17 an actual appearance by Cerebus in panel 4.
- Rogue Satellite Comics #3: March 1997, Slave Labor Graphics. "Pages 2/3. Double page spread also featuring Marv, Groo, Mary Poppins, Godzilla, Winnie The pooh and more. Art by Kevin Atkinson."
- Tales of the Silverfish #4: August 2006. Published by Cryin Shark Studios. Cerebus guest stars with the silverfish. Drawn and Cerebus' dialogue by Dave Sim.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8: Cerebus drawn by Sim, everything else by Eastman and Laird. Later reprinted.
- TMNT Turtlemania Special #1: 1986, only 3000 made, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" 32 page book. There is a couple of prelimiary pages of the Cerebus TMNT team up in pencil form. There is also a Flaming Carrot TMNT double page centerpiece that has Cerebus in it. I haven't seen it up close, but it sounds like an ashcan for the TMNT team-ups.
- The True North: True North I in 1988 and True North II in 1991. A benefit book for the CLLDF (Comic Legends Legal Defense Fund). Has Cerebus covers only, no other Cerebus / Sim material. For more info on True North, go here.
- Sandman #48: April 1993, DC. Two Cerebus cameos by Jill Thompson and Vince Locke. More from Holon: "reprinted in Sandman book 7 "Brief Lives", chapter 8. There are 5 panels (pages:panels 14:2, 15:4-5, 17:4, 18:1) showing Delirium, embodiment of madness, creating from scratch a tiny winged Cerebus, while her brother discuss about prescience and synchronicity.
- Savage Dragon #41: Cerebus is one of the wedding guests: p. 12 (ears only), 18 & 20
- Shi / Cyblade #1: Crusade, Sept. 1995. The second part of a crossover, which features about 50 guest characters from many indy comics. Cerebus cameo on 3 pages and also featured in the front of the book. Shi and Cyblade meet Cerebus who hangs about fifty feet in the air and tells them about their quest.
- Shuriken #6: Stuffed Cerebus doll on cover and p. 2.
- Spawn: Published by Image.
- #4: One pin-up of Cerebus done by Sim. This pin-up later become a print offered by CBLDF (see in Misc. Section).
- #5: Cerebus in one panel as a stuffed doll in the baby's bed.
- #8: Alan Moore put this reference in to foreshadow Dave's story in issue #10: "On pg 25 "As for the seventh sphere, don't ask. It's this place called Erebus, but nobody's ever been inside. We figure it's some special hell for the most damnable creature of all."
- #10: (1992) Story by Sim, Art by McFarlane. Cerebus in this one discusses creator owned comics with Spawn.
- Supreme #8: by Alan Moore. On pg 19 Supreme is seen walking out of "The Light and Void Cafe."
- Supernatural Law #32 & 33: "Issue #32 ("Meanwhile, Back the Interim"), #33 ("Huberis the Dybbuk")" A cerebus like character appears, Sim inks the Huberis character on the front page and Gerhard does the background. - Swords of the Swashbucklers: (Marvel Graphic Novel #14) 1984: on page 35, Cerebus is swinging through the air in the midst of a brawl in a pub or"mead hall".
- What The #2: "Volume 1. September 1988. Pages 26 and 27. A story called: THE SECRET, UNSUSPECTED SANCTUM SANCYOUVERYMUCH OF DOCTOR DERANGED COSMIC TRUTHS-MYSTIC MIGHT-LOTTERY TICKETS Written by Peter B. Gillis with Art by Phil Foglio". Here is one panel and here is another panel.
- What The..?! #25: "Cerebus appears on page one in a story written by Barry Dutter, and drawn by Marie Severin. In a parody of 60s X-Men comics, the mutant detecting Cerebro is called Cerebus (twice in panel two). And images of Cerebus appear in panel one, and panel two."
- Wise Intelligence #1: BW, published by Total Cult Comics, May 2005. Cerebus appears one one page, written by Ryan McLelland, drawn by Scott Kellogg.
- Xombi #21: Cerebus on p. 7 along with a lot of other indy comic characters.
