High Society in French

Dave Sim recently authorization translations of Cerebus, and they’ve all started with High Society.  I ordered a copy via Fnac.com – they take PayPal and ship overseas, just use google chrome to translate the page and viola ordering a French translation of Cerebus via a French website. Super easy and it showed up about a week later (if that late).

The French version is done by Vertige Graphic and is a softcover with flaps on the inside front cover.  As you can see in the picture below, the French version on the far right leaves the title as High Society and subtitles it “Une Histoire de Cerebus”:

The Vertige Graphic name is on the front on the bottom right hand corner and spine. On back there is a UPC symbol and the price tag 35 Euro (though the Fnac.com site has it listed at 33,25 €). The book is smaller then the original English phonebook, but not by much and the pages have just been resized a tiny bit – they still look good.
