Dave okays Italian translations of Cerebus

July 10th, 2009

So I can finally tell y’all. Dave has agreed to an Italian translation of Cerebus. Via the google translation of the notice:

Black Velvet has announced on its website that will publish the Italian edition of Cerebus by Dave Sim, a number that readers expect Italians for decades. The first volume for publication in Italy are entitled High Society and will contain the numbers from 26 to 50 of the original series.

The official website for the Black Velvet press release is here: http://www.blackvelveteditrice.com/spip.php?article241

And they include a couple pages of the translated Alta Societa:

I’m excited about sharing Cerebus with a new audience. And I’d be interested in comparing the English vs Italian translation. . .
